I've always been intrigued by how things work. From micro to macro scales in human nature as in global finance - patterns abound. My studies in Economics & International Business and later a Master of Applied Finance provided frameworks to build understandings upon.
After beginning my career in investment banking in Europe, I spent several years in Switzerland advising private clients on alternative investments. Immersed in the rich cultural tapestry of Europe, I enjoyed exploring the varied perspectives and histories, timeless architecture and world-class museums, as well as the famous Swiss alps.
Working with investors is rewarding as I'm often learning from successful and inspiring individuals. As an investor and founder of a small business, this proximity is valuable. In my view, venture investing is the most interesting and compelling sector within the investment industry. It's multifaceted, growing rapidly & when done correctly, has the potential to significantly augment portfolio outcomes. Few other asset classes can match.
I'm a great believer in the power of one person to make an outsized contribution to the world, for the benefit of many. I'm inspired by the likes of Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelou, Nikola Tesla and Yvon Chouinard, who have made monumental & courageous sacrifices for the greater good. They serve as a reminder that one can achieve great things in one lifetime.
