The biggest challenges are often the greatest opportunities for growth. This principle runs through my family, instilled by my grandparents who fled a war zone almost 65 years ago. They built a new life from the ground up, and in doing so, taught me the value of perseverance, and the importance of turning adversity into meaningful change.

These lessons shaped the way I approach the world. Whether it was competing on the tennis court or navigating my career, I’ve always believed in the value of consistency and preparation. Success, I’ve found, isn’t about quick wins or innate talent - it’s about the habits you build when no one’s watching, the moments when you choose to push just a little harder, and the discipline to show up, day after day.

Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate how these principles extend to business. Growth, much like resilience, is rarely linear - it demands patience, persistence, and the willingness to embrace uncertainty in pushing all limits. Venture capital embodies this idea of growth in its purest form.

My passion for venture capital stems from its power to have real impact. Early in my career, I developed a deep interest in the inner workings of business - particularly the intricate mechanics of unlisted funds. My time at AGSM UNSW expanded that foundation, giving me a clearer lens on what it takes to not only build but sustain and scale successful ventures. Together, pursuing a career in VC made perfect sense.

To be a part of a team that doesn't just imagine the future, but plays an active role in building it feels pretty cool. While I can’t say my family fully understands what we do, all they know for sure is that it involves an absurd amount of coffee.
